Sudhakar Mondithoka is the Director of HITHA (Hyderabad Institute of Theology and Apologetics) and a writer, speaker, apologist, teacher. Prior to founding HITHA, he worked as the Executive Director/CEO of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, India (RZIM-India) and also as the Editor and Publisher of a Quarterly Magazine ‘Apologia: Reasoned Answers for Life’, for three years from its inception.
He has spoken in over 15 countries (USA, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Brazil, Kuwait, Oman, Dubai, Nepal, etc.,) and also in some of the best Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (over 150 college/university campuses).
He has been featured on many Television Channels – Aradhana TV, Rakshana TV, I News, Velugu TV, Prakash TV, and on All India Radio and FM Radio. He has been doing a Live Apologetics Q & A Program on Rakshana TV.
He has three graduate degrees – M. Sc (Zoology – specializing in Entomology and Neurophysiology), M. Ed (School Administration) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and M. A (Philosophy of Religion and Ethics) from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, USA. While at Talbot, he won the prestigious Baker Book House Award for Excellence in the Study of Theology. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. studies through OCMS (Oxford Center for Mission Studies).
He worked as an Entomological Officer with the Andhra Pradesh State Health Department and taught Zoology for over 9 years in the Wesley and Loyola institutions in Andhra Pradesh. He has been a visiting professor/faculty of ‘Contemporary World Religions & Christian Apologetics’ and ‘Ethics’ at SAIACS and ‘Christian Apologetics & Philosophy of Religion’ at SABC. He has also taught Christian Apologetics at ICCS (International College of Cultural Studies), OM-India, Hyderabad. He has also lectured at a number of other Seminaries/Bible Colleges.
